- Select Object(s) – Click the object(s) in the 3D Viewport.
- Open Material Properties – Press
N to open the sidebar, then go to the Material tab.
- Create a New Material – Click
+ to add a material slot, then click New.
- Rename the Material – Click the name field (default:
"Material"), enter a new name, and press Enter.
- Adjust Properties – Modify color, roughness, metallicness, and other attributes as needed.
- Select an object, open the Material dropdown, and choose an existing material from the list.
- Better organization for complex scenes.
